About the event

The  complexity and troubles in the world seem to be never ending. Covid-19,  political unrest, world tensions and war, inflation, possible recession  – we generally try to hunker down, feeling that if we can just get  through this crisis, things will get better. But each crisis gives way  to a new disruption, and we start all over again.

The problem is not really the world and its situations. Rather, the  difficulty is that we expect things to go the way we want them to go –  and when they don’t, we suffer. Our work is to start with our own selves  – learning to see the world as it is rather than how we think it is or  should be – and cultivating an open and caring heart that allows us to  meet what life offers us with acceptance and peace.
