During this ten-day silent meditation retreat, we will be radiating to ourselves and all beings the four Divine Abodes of metta, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity as taught by the Buddha in the suttas.  We also will practice the emptiness practices as taught by the Buddha and clarified by Bhikkhu Analayo in his book, Compassion and Emptiness and Abiding in Emptiness. One or both books would be good to read before the retreat begins and to bring with you to the retreat as a resource.  Before registering, please consider carefully whether you have the emotional and physical stamina, home practice, and retreat experience to attend a ten-day silent retreat and whether you can attend fully.  No requests for partial attendance will be granted.
